Fame Theatre Company delivers quality training programs to children aged 3-17 years throughout greater Brisbane. Our performance based programs include training in dance, drama, and voice.

We  encourage students to develop skills in all these key areas. Our courses are fun, innovative and provide excellent grounding to students interested in the performing arts.

Fame has its own theatre facility, centrally located at Bowen Hills, a well established hub for many successful musical theatre, pantomime, and concert projects. It is our priority to ensure that your children are receiving every opportunity to perform in front of appreciative audiences.

Teeny Fame        3-4 yrs                

Teeny Fame classes offer children a wonderful introduction to the performing arts. Our interactive program introduces children to the foundations of dance and voice in a 45 minute class.  Drama activites are also included and provides children with an outlet for self-expression and the development of imagination. 

Our course has been designed with careful consideration of the learning and developmental needs of 3-4 year olds. The delivery of our course inspires imagination and uses story telling as a vehicle for self expression.  Our small intimate classes encourage social awareness, mental awareness, self respect and self confidence. 

Our specially trained tutors will ensure that your young child’s first experience on stage will be both fun and exciting.

Young Fame        5-7 yrs

In a creative and fun-filled environment, your children are instructed in the basic elements of singing and dancing. Through drama games and activities, children are developing fundamental acting skills, whilst improving their own personal levels of self confidence, and self expression.

Young Fame classes run for one hour and provides opportunity to develop dancing, singing, and drama skills.  During weekly class sessions, students will be given grounding in technique, whilst working through interesting and varied repetoire.    New material is presented each term, and children work towards a variety of performance experiences, such as concerts, and mini musicals.

Juniors        8-12 yrs

For middle to upper primary aged children, our Juniors course runs for 2 and a half hours each week. Equal emphasis is given to singing, dancing, and acting in 45 minute sessions. 

Each term our curriculum content changes and encourages children to work towards many and varied performance projects. With a wonderful mix of contemporary and classic material, your children will be constantly challenged and inspired to learn and continue along our performance pathway.

We understand the individual needs of your children and believe strongly in assisting them to work towards achieving their own personal goals both on and off the stage.

Seniors        13-17yrs

Our Seniors course caters for high school aged children. Senior students have a 2 and a half hour class which is divided into 45 minute sessions of singing, dancing, and acting. 

Our tutors are specialists in all various aspects of musical theatre. The program has a carefully balanced spectrum of learning materials with well-known musical standards, whilst at the same time allowing students to explore their own contemporary culture, and draw from modern selections.

Students perform in the genres of musical theatre, cabaret and concert style productions throughout the year in order to demonstrate and utilise skills being taught in the training programmes.
